Terms & Conditions
1. The competition promoter is Kerry Foods Limited whose registered office Thorpe Lea Manor, Thorpre Lea Road, Egham, Surrey, TW20 8HY (the "Promoter").
2. Entry into the competition is dependent on your acceptance of these terms and conditions and by entering the competition you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Entrants, eligible for the prize, must be over 18 years of age and friends accompanying the prize winner must be over 16 years of age.
4. This competition is open to residents residing in the UK only.
5. To enter all entrants must complete the missing words from the sentence set forth on the Cheestrings website (www.cheestrings.co.uk) and submit the completed sentence, together with their name and a valid email address.
6. The competition will open on 9th May 2011 and only entries received on or after this date shall be deemed eligible.
7. The closing date for entries is 1st August 2011 (inclusive) and entries received after this date shall be deemed ineligible.
8. The winner will be informed via email using the details provided in the entry form.
9. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received or cannot be entered for technical or any other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions and these terms and conditions are invalid.
10. All correct responses will be pooled together and winners will be chosen at random from such pool of correct responses in accordance with the laws of chance using an automated computer process that produces verifiably random results.
11. The prize will consist of a lunch with Gino D'Acampo on 8 September 2011 for the winner and two friends at a venue to be determined valued up to a maximum of £1,100, together with travel expenses up to a maximum of £400 ("the Budget"). If travel expenses and/or lunch are less than the Budget, the winner (and accompanying friends) shall not be entitled to any unspent portion of the Budget. If such expenses exceed the Budget, the winner shall bear any expenses in excess of the Budget.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable (in whole or in part except). In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
13. The prize must be fulfilled on 8 September 2011, and if the winner if unable to attend lunch on such date, the winner must forfeit the prize and the Promoter shall be entitled to select an alternative winner.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by as a result of entering the competition, not being able to enter into the competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for fraud or for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
15. The winner shall be required to participate in a reasonable amount of post-competition publicity which may include, but not limited to, photographs and/or media interviews.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to pick an alternative winner if the original winner fails to contact the Promoter within 30 days of being told they have won.
17. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by the rules and any other requirements set out in the promotional materials.
18. Any personal data relating to the entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individuals' prior consent.
19. Our decision is final on all matters and we will not enter into further correspondence.
20. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
22. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes and/or proceedings in connection with this promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
